Halloween is quickly approaching, so I made a theme cake this weekend. Of course it won't last until Halloween ;)

I think that having to put a title or a caption on everything I write, is hindering me from actually writing here. I always feel like I should begin with writing the title down, which is such pressure you know. And that title, that one little word or tiny little sentence just dictates what I will write. Of course logically speaking one should write the title of the post after writing the post, but then how do you know what to write about, if you get my meaning. Yeah, I don't either, my brain is all scrambled. So from now on, I'll just not have a title to my posts, or I should say, I'll only put a title if it's easy to do.

Autumn is here, or fall if you will. Me and Magnús stood outside earlier in the crisp air and just breathed in the fresh air and looked at all the hundreds of small brown and yellow leaves as they were ripped from the trees with the occasional gusts of wind. It was very nice and he just stared at the leaves falling down, on the ground and on my hair and on his clothes, it was fun.

I need to vacuum, and do the dishes, and unload the dryer and put a load in the washer, I also need to change the kitty litter and wash the bathroom rugs.

Blogger's block

I have a bit of a writer's block, but if I don't write something on here soon this site will just die on me. So it's bulletin points time I believe.

  • Rotisserie chicken over here $4, over there $14, what the hell?
  • Our cat is sick but slowly getting better.
  • I killed the biggest spider I have ever seen, and it was crawling out of my boy's toy bin, yeah!
  • I want to go home for Christmas.
  • Happy Birthday Lisa!
  • Netflix is cool.
  • When will this weather cool down?

20 lbs cat

I had to take Zoey to the vet today. She had been guarding her behind and was just generally not feeling too good. So we got an appointment with the doc and she had to have her anal glands expressed, again, poor pussycat. One gland was so bad apparently that it was on the verge of being impacted. I know, I asked the same question you're thinking right now. ''Impacted? What does that mean?'' It means that if we would have waited any longer to bring her in, that anal gland would have exploded. ''Oh my god'' I say, ''What happens if it explodes?'' and the doc said that if an impacted anal gland explodes it basically makes a new hole next to the rectum. Yikes! So she's on antibiotics now, a huge pill every 12 hours for ten days, and then back in 4 weeks to check how full her anal glands are then, and then come up with some sort of schedule of expressing them regularly so they won't explode. My poor kitty cat.
